Trained in her native Sweden in Early Years teaching, Malin has developed the unique SMART Schooling System to blend the brilliant Scandinavian teaching approach of learning through play with the best of British techniques. Frustrated with the childcare on offer to her children, she set up her own preschool and has not looked back since. Known as a pioneer in the Early Years industry, she has a hands on approach to all her projects and clients and delivers outstanding results every time.
A trained Ofsted inspector, Carmen’s knowledge has been based on solid theoretical foundations and also practice.
She also works as an Early Years Specialist with the Pre-School Learning Alliance. Visiting various preschools, to support and give guidance on Early Years practice and welfare. This has resulted in multiple Outstanding ratings from Ofsted for the settings she has advised.

Katie has developed many of SMART’s current processes, ensuring efficient running of the preschool and the office teams.
