The SMART Preschools curriculum is unique and only available in our preschools and our Home Learning Programme. Developed by Founder Malin Drennow Hogstrand, it blends the Scandinavian approach of learning through play, which she experienced herself in her native Sweden, with British teaching techniques. The result is fully prepared children ready to enter the top prep schools with confidence and a love for learning.

Each child receives two assessments a term, shared with parents to develop their own Individual Learning Plan, offering children a tailored and detailed learning journey. Activities are developed in line with children’s Individual Learning Plans, to ensure each child develops at their own pace and in line with their interests. By approaching teaching in this way, children develop a love of learning which stays with them through-out their time in the preschools and beyond.

Our curriculum is taught in terms, and for preschools that offer full year attendance, the holidays are filled with fun, child-lead activities and games.
